A broad range of mullions and transoms available to meet various static requirements.
A wide selection of cover strips allows for a range of visual effects on the curtain wall.
The visual width between mullion and transom is 55 mm.
Thermal insulation – the heat transfer coefficient for the profiles is U= 1.616-2.815 W/m2K, falling under material group 2.1 according to DIN 4108.
Thermal break – this is achieved using polyamide reinforced with multidirectionally oriented glass fibre.
The mullion-to-transom connection has a very high load-bearing capacity, effective in both the wind pressure plane and the glazing load plane, thanks to the use of 2 or 3 ø6 stainless steel connectors per node.
Traditional transom brackets are utilized and secured solely with front screws.
At the profile production stage, the transoms are insulated by a thermal break clamped at Aliplast, which prevents potential errors during the subsequent installation of the thermal break.
Incorporating a transom with an integrated thermal break further accelerates the installation process of the façade wall. The choice of thermal break depends on the infill thickness within the curtain wall.
